Privacy
OMG Nexus is a closed management information system operated by OMG Group. It holds personal data about pupils and learners, their families, and staff, so that the organisations below can run education provision and meet their legal duties.
Who the data controller is
The controller is the OMG entity you deal with — the school, the CIC, the Foundation, or the Dubai centre — each of which is named on the About page. They operate from 85 Commercial Street, London, E1 6BG, United Kingdom.
What the system holds
- Pupil and learner records: admission, attendance, assessment, SEND provision and support plans
- Safeguarding and pastoral records, held under restricted access
- Contact details for parents, carers and the professionals working with a child
- Staff records: employment, qualifications, training and pre-employment checks
- Finance and billing records relating to placements and courses
Why
To deliver education and support, and to meet statutory duties — in England to the Department for Education, Ofsted and placing local authorities under the Independent School Standards and Keeping Children Safe in Education, and in Dubai to KHDA. OMG does not sell personal data, does not use it for advertising, and does not share it except where a law, a contract with a placing authority, or the safeguarding of a child requires it.
Where it is held
Records are held in a managed database in the United Kingdom, with access limited to named staff of the relevant entity and logged.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data held about you or your child, ask for it to be corrected, and ask about how it is used. Requests should go to the organisation you deal with — see Contact. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
